IPL 2021: Unsold in the auction but now this player will play for KKR

Kolkata: Many major changes are taking place before the start of the 14th season of IPL. On the one hand, many players are in the grip of the corona, and on the other hand, many teams are struggling with the injuries of the players. Meanwhile, Gurkeerat Singh Mann has been included in the team in place of Rinku Singh by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

KKR has said in a release on Saturday that in the 2021 season, Uttar Pradesh batsman Rinku Singh will not be able to be part of the IPL due to injury. Gurkeerat Singh Mann was part of the team of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL played in UAE last year, but he was released before the auction. He did not find a buyer this time during the IPL auction. KKR has bought Gurkeerat for his base price of 50 lakhs. Rinku has been associated with KKR for many years and has scored valuable runs on many important occasions. He has scored 77 runs in 8 innings of 10 IPL.

Gurkeerat has played 41 matches in the IPL so far and during this time he has scored 511 runs. Earlier, from 2012 to 2017, Gurkeerat was playing for the Punjab Kings team and he also appeared for the Delhi Capitals team in 2018 and now he will play for KKR.
