Guwahati: In a major incident, a woman was killed and five others were injured when a water supply line burst in Assam's Kharguli area on Thursday, police said. The current of water damaged several houses and vehicles and people rushed to save themselves, an official said. The injured persons were rushed to a nearby hospital, the officer said. Senior officials have reached the spot and the cause of the incident is being ascertained. Watching the video gives an idea of the magnitude of the accident. The strength of the water was seen in such a way that it went far above the high-rise buildings in the area.
