Government will compensate for the loss of crops destroyed by hailstorm: CM Shivraj

Bhopal: State CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed concern over hailstorms in several districts in Bhopal (Bhopal), the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Not only that, the Chief Minister said, "Crops have been damaged in many districts of the state and due to hailstorm. CM said, "Hailstorms have been reported at several places in the state for the last 3 days. This has affected the crops of wheat, gram, lentils and vegetables. In the meantime, the Government will leave no stone unturned to provide assistance to the farmers affected by natural calamities.'

 

 

He further said, "Based on the assessment of damages, assistance will be provided as per crop insurance. Instructions have been issued to all officers for all this. In this hour of crisis, the Government has stood with the farmers. In such a case, the loss will be compensated for the loss of the farmers. In fact, according to reports, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, "Many villages and some districts of the state have received rain as well as hailstorm. In such a situation, the crops are also benefited due to rains but due to hailstorms, farmers' crops have been damaged at many places.''

He said, "At the moment, I have given instructions. Where the crops of our farmer brothers and sisters have been damaged due to hailstorm, an urgent survey should be conducted. On the other hand, the damage will be assessed during the survey and relief will be provided to the farmer after assessing the damage. CM Shivraj has said, "Hailstorm is reported to have damaged crops in some districts of Ujjain, Sagar and Gwalior divisions including Bhopal, the capital of the state. This has damaged other horticulture crops including moong, masoor, gram, mustard, potato, tomato. However, after assessing the loss, compensation will be paid to the farmers on the basis of the report.'
