In Madhya Pradesh, the covid infection has gained even more momentum. On Saturday, 2,040 new covid infected have been found in the state. Now the total number of covid infected patients in the state has gone up to 6,849. A case of loss of life of a covid infected person has also been heard in Sehore. There were a total of 11 cases of new variant Omicron of covid in the state, in which all have been recovered. In 24 hours, 234 people infected with covid have recovered. The infection rate of covid in the state has been recorded at 2.97 percent, while the recovery rate is 97.83 percent.

The highest number of infected people found here: More than 100 corona infected have also been found in 4 cities of the state on Saturday. 621 new cases have been heard in Indore, 434 in the capital Bhopal, 280 in Gwalior and 152 in Jabalpur. In Indore, more than 500 cases of covid are being witnessed every day. 618 corona patients were found on Friday. In Bhopal too, the growth of covid infection seems to be slowing down. While 347 covid patients were found in the state on Friday, more than 434 new cases have been reported on Saturday. In Gwalior and Jabalpur also, corona infected patients have started increasing continuously.

Corona situation in smaller cities: Cases of corona infection are increasing even more rapidly in small towns of the state. On Saturday, 63 new patients were found in Ujjain, Sagar 53, Ratlam 48, Vidisha 35, Khandwa 31 and Tikamgarh. Coming to other parts of the state, Betul 22, Morena 21, Khargone 20, Shahdol 20, Chhatarpur 19, Satna 17, Chhindwara 14, Neemuch 14, Burhanpur 13, Sivani 13, Datia 12, Dhar 12, Anuppur 10, Narsinghpur 8, Sehore 8, Mandsaur 7, Damoh 7, Niwadi 6, Rewa 6, Ashoknagar 5, Balaghat 5, Katni 3, Alirajpur 2, Devas 2, Guna 2, Hoshangabad 2, Raisen 1 and Harda have received 1 new infected patients.
