New Delhi: One of India's most successful spin bowlers, Harbhajan Singh has appealed to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) chairman Sourav Ganguly to change the selection committee. Harbhajan has said that strong people should be included in the selection committee. The selection committee comprising MSK Prasad recently selected the team for the Windies series in which Sanju Samson was not named. After this, the selection committee is under severe criticism. Sanju got a place in the T20 series against Bangladesh, but he did not play in the last-11. Expressing disappointment, Congress MP from Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha seat Shashi Tharoor tweeted after Samson was dropped, "Very disappointed to see Sanju Samson dropped without a chance. He carried the drinks for three T20Is & has been promptly discarded. Are they testing his batting or his heart?" Tharoor had tweeted. After this, former spinner Harbhajan tweeted on Monday, responding to Tharoor's tweet, Harbhajan wrote in his tweet that, "I tI guess they r testing his heart #selectionpanelneedtobechanged need strong people there.. hope dada @SGanguly99 will do the needful.
