American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson is going to launch its electric motorcycle, LiveWire, on August 27 in India. The bike will be introduced at an event in Delhi and the company has also started sending invites. The new electric bike is expected to be priced around Rs 21 lakh. According to the company, customers will get the service to charge the bike at electric US stations. The company also announced that by the end of this year the bike will be made available in the US, Canada and many European countries. The bike will be exported to other markets for the next two years. The design is slightly different from Harley's other bikes. The bike features several features. As per the information received, the new live wire bike can cover a distance of 235 km on a single charge. Not only that, it takes only 3 seconds for the bike to catch a speed of 0-100 km. The electric motor produces 103 PS and 116Nm of torque. In addition, DC fast charging allows the bike to be charged in an hour while the bike charges up to 80 percent in 40 minutes. The bike has rapid acceleration. The bike features a 4.3-inch TFT display, LED headlamps, drag torque slip control system, reflex defensive rider system, anti-lock braking system, and cornering enhanced traction control system. It also offers seven different riding modes for smooth rides.
