Harpreet Singh is a well known social worker, political activist and youth leader from the city of Delhi in India. He is the youngest Secretary-General of the Delhi Pradesh Youth Congress. After completing his higher education from London, Harpreet came back to the country to take up social and public service. Harpreet Singh has undertaken various projects in the fields of child education and social support. He has enrolled hundreds of children from village and slum areas in Government schools near their localities. Not only this, Harpreet and his team provided them with free uniforms, shoes, stationery, books and notebooks. Harpreet Singh also identified basic problems in those Government schools and took them up with the relevant authorities. During the COVID-19 pandemic in the country, Harpreet Singh founded the India Together Foundation and dedicated it to extending social help and support to hundreds and thousands of affected people, primarily in the city of Delhi. Harpreet and his team regularly supplied vegetables, food grains, water and basic medicines to the households of numerous migrant and hand-to-mouth workers in the city. Harpreet Singh also engaged himself in distributing free masks, sanitizers, medicines and safety kits to the general public. He connected people to hospitals, clinics and health centers. Harpreet Singh has established his name as a social and political activist who is driving real change in society. He continues to remain committed to social and public service that brings results that are not only beneficial but also long-term.
