Haryana: MahaManthan is going on, scientists from 20 countries are looking for solutions

Hisar: Most of the country's population is based on agriculture, in such a way, how to deal with the challenges faced by farmers. On this matter, the mahaanthan is going on at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (HAU) in Hisar, Haryana. Actually, a 3-day Golden Jubilee International Conference has been organized at the university on the subject of New Millennia Agriculture Novel Trends and Future Scenario.

Around 100 foreign delegates from 20 countries got registered in this conference, who will also present their research papers at the conference. Today is the second day of the conference. Dr. Baoshen Zing of the University of Massachusetts, USA has arrived as the headmistress to start the conference. HAU VC Prof. KP Singh has said that the area of Haryana state is 1.34 percent of the total area of the country, while Haryana has 17 percent contribution in the food grain stock of the country.

He gave credit for such a huge contribution to the hardworking farmers and agricultural scientists of Haryana state. He has said that keeping in view the challenges coming in the agriculture sector, suitable changes will have to be made in agricultural education and agricultural research so that the problems faced by the farmers can be resolved and according to the international approach to the challenges facing the local level.
