Chandigarh: From today on Thursday, February 20, 2020, the budget session of Haryana has started. On February 28, CM Manohar Lal is going to present the budget of the year 2020-21. The budget session started on Thursday at 11 am with the address of Governor Satyadev Narayan Arya. The Governor presented an account of the coalition government of the state in the House and also presented a roadmap for the future. There is a possibility of the budget session to be turbulent this time. INLD MLA Abhay Chautala will also remain an attacker on the government on many issues. Congress has decided to surround the government on many issues of public interest including paddy procurement scam, non-fixation of minimum common program, social, old age pension only by raising Rs 250.

Many MLAs will be able to ask two questions only once: During the Question Hour in the budget session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha, till February 28, MLAs will be able to ask a total of 100 questions. On Wednesday, February 19, 2020, Assembly Speaker Gyanchand Gupta took the second draw of questions under this new practice, in which sixty more questions were selected. Now a total of 100 questions have been selected. The various MLAs will ask the government in the House. The second draw was held for 26, 27 and 28 February.
