New Delhi: According to a recent report, the Electricity Distribution Corporation (UHBVN) in Haryana last night investigated electricity connections in the Chambers of Advocates located in the district court and claimed that several illegal connections were allegedly found in it. UHBVN Executive Engineer Jesse Sharma informed that on the basis of information and complaint, a team of officials of Electricity Corporation investigated the Chambers of Lawyers on Friday evening. The action continued till 12 o'clock at night. During the investigation, theft of electricity was found in about 156 chambers, which was fined Rs 20 lakh. Gautam said that the information of the entire case has been given to the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana, High Court, Inspecting Judge and Chief Minister. Till the time the DC and SDM are not supported, their picketing will continue. If there is a need, there will be calls for demonstrations in other districts of the state.
