Women get 50 percent reservation in Panchayat election in this state

Now in Haryana too, a big decision has come about Panchayati elections. In which there is a preparation to give 50% reservation to women. The Haryana Government has given in-principle approval to this decision. Haryana Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala informed the government's decision on Thursday after holding a media talk in Chandigarh. Dushyant said that reservation is going to be given to women in Panchayati Raj institutions. The limit of this reservation has been said to be 50%.

The Haryana Government has given in-principle approval to this decision regarding the Panchayat elections. The government is constantly making new efforts regarding this matter. Haryana was the first state in the country where the condition of being educated for the panchayat elections was laid. An educational qualification limit was set for all, whether female or male. However, it was also opposed and the matter reached the court. The Supreme Court also approved this decision of the Haryana government. After this, there are now educated public representatives in all panchayats in Haryana, and this is the reason why development-related work is being done at a lower level.

In continuation of this connection, the Haryana Government has now decided to give a reservation of 50% to women in the Panchayati elections. All the leaders in the coalition government agree to this decision, and which is the next session of the Haryana Legislative Assembly. This is called the monsoon session. A bill related to the reservation will be brought in it. This law will be made as soon as the bill is passed on the floor of the Legislative Assembly, and women will get the benefit of this rule in the upcoming elections that will be held in February 2021.
