Chandigarh: Farmers in Mandis in Haryana will be paid in lieu of their product purchase within 7 days. For this, the State Government has released an instalment of Rs. 1000 crore on the direction of CM Manohar Lal Khattar. The system will be further strengthened to avoid any problem for the farmers in the Mandis. CM Khattar of Haryana said that the State Government has made all necessary arrangements to ensure the smooth and orderly procurement of Kharif crops. For the first time, the government procurement of maize is being made at the minimum support price (MSP). Earlier, bajra was also procured on MSP basis. So far, Rs. 1000 crore has been allocated on behalf of the Government in the form of payment of Paddy and other produce. CM Manohar Lal Khattar said that one grain of the produce of Haryana farmers will be procured. The priority of the State Government is the goodness of the farmers of Haryana and for this, the first is the procurement of the produce of the farmers of the diocese in the Mandis. The farmers of other states have to register before bringing their crops to the Mandis of Haryana, whether it is through the commissions or at their own level.
