Nanded: Upset over molestation, a student committed suicide by hanging herself in a college hostel in Nanded, Maharashtra. Police have received a suicide note, which the student has written in the name of the Women's Commission. In this, the student has demanded the commission to get the culprit hanged. Police have arrested the accused and are investigating the case. The student, a resident of Osmanabad district, was studying engineering in Nanded. Adesh Chaudhary, a student of the college, was harassing her. Upset over this, the student committed suicide. Before committing suicide, she wrote a suicide note. In this, she has told Chaudhary is responsible for her death. The student wrote, "Adesh Chaudhary is responsible for my death. He is a third-year student in the same college. He hurt me a lot. I stopped talking to everyone. He used to threaten me, blackmail me. He said he would tell her family about her. I pray to the Women's Commission that those who do this to women should be hanged." As soon as the news of the student's death was received, her brother reached the spot. He has lodged a complaint against Adesh Chaudhary at the Nanded Rural police station. The police have registered a case under relevant sections and arrested the accused. The police are questioning the culprit.
