Patna has changed, many posh areas submerged

Patna: The monsoon has knocked in many parts of the country, due to which the rivers are also in spate. With this, the danger of flooding has also started looming. Due to the heavy rains on Thursday night, many areas of Patna city were completely submerged. The first torrential rain of the monsoon has exposed all the claims of the Patna Municipal Corporation, claiming to save Patna from drowning, taking lessons from the previous year.

Due to overnight rains in many areas, the lake-like situation has become the most affected in the Rajendra Nagar area of Patna. Bahadurpur, Rampur, including many locales were completely submerged, on the other hand, water has entered several houses in Rajbanshi Nagar area of Patna. The same situation has been the same for other areas including Punaichak. Water has accumulated at many places on Bailey Road, which is in the posh area of Patna.

In North India, the monsoon may knock soon. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon is expected to arrive in Delhi-NCR between June 22 and 23, after which the monsoon will spread throughout North India. On Thursday, Delhi's temperature was higher than Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 46.4 degrees Celsius on Thursday.
