Heavy rains in Himachal, educational institutions closed in three districts

Due to heavy rains in Himachal, it has been declared that educational institutions of three districts will be closed. Due to heavy rains since last night, a decision has been taken to stop the schools in several sub-divisions of Chamba, Kangra and Mandi. Under the orders issued by the district administration, all government and private school colleges and industrial institutions will be closed in Kangra today. The Meteorological Department has taken this decision for the safety of children keeping in mind the heavy rain warning in the ensuing hours.

However, all the health institutions in the district will be open. The administration has appealed to contact emergency services number 1077 in an emergency situation. At the same time, the decision has been taken to close the school in the Mandir's Mandir sub-division too with heavy rains. 

However, other institutes including health institutions, colleges will be open here. There is also information about the cloudburst in Kangra and Chamba. This has led to heavy losses. Due to heavy rains damages were caused and also caused the death of the cows. 

Recently, after the devastating floods in Kerala, many states, including Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Haryana, have extended their help. According to preliminary estimates, the state has suffered a loss of Rs 21 thousand crore due to floods. In the southern state, there is a scourge of devastation everywhere. It is being told that 96 thousand kilometres of roads have been damaged.
