After the devastating floods in Kerala, many states, including Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Haryana, have extended their help. According to preliminary estimates, the state has suffered a loss of Rs 21 thousand crore due to floods. In the southern state, there is a scourge of devastation everywhere. It is being told that 96 thousand kilometres of roads have been damaged. 

The state government has demanded Rs 2,000 crore from the Center for immediate assistance. Earlier, the Maharashtra government announced financial assistance of Rs 20 crore on Saturday. State Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis tweeted that his government has released 20 crore rupees for the people of flood affected Kerala. 

Earlier Tamilnadu CM Palanisamy announced the financial help and relief material worth Rs. 5 crores. All IAS officers in Tamil Nadu also announced their donation of one day's salary. Gujarat also announced a financial assistance of Rs 10 crore for Kerala. Bihar's Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has also announced a financial assistance of Rs 10 crore for flood-affected Kerala from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. Jharkhand CM Raghubar Das also announced financial assistance of Rs 5 crore.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced a financial assistance of Rs 10 crore. Senior Vice President of Hyundai Motor India Stephen Sudhakar and South Zone Business Head YS Chang Sr. handed a check of Rs 1 crore to Kerala's CM P Vijayan.
