Heavy rains in many states in the next 24 hours, 183 deaths in UP so far

In many states including Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, the torrential rains that started from the last week of July have been devastated. Because of this, many districts have been hit by the flood. Rivers are on the boom. The weather forecasting agency SkyMet has predicted heavy rains in many areas of Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Western Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in the next 24 hours. According to SkyMate, torrential rains in both the states may increase the water level of the rivers. The water levels of rivers like Gomti, Ghaghra, Saryu and Ramganga can be increased. At the same time, the water levels of Kosi, Bagmati and Narayani rivers of Bihar can be increased. 

Due to heavy rains, in Uttar Pradesh, more than 17 people have died in the last 48 hours. As many as 183 people have died in the rains since July 1 in the state. Apart from this, the Kharif crop in thousands of acres in the state has worsened due to the sinking. In the beginning, when the monsoon covered Central India till the second week of July, less rain was observed in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand. In UP, it was 43 per cent fewer rains. But in the last week, there were tremendous rains, which disrupted life in many districts. 

Bihar has received 22 per cent fewer rains so far, while Jharkhand has received 24 per cent rainfall even as usual. According to data from July 26, in Bihar, 48 per cent less rainfall than normal was recorded. Here, 26 out of 38 districts have received less than normal rainfall. Among them Vaishali and Saharsa are prominent. 65% in Vaishali and 62% less in Saharsa than normal. 

At the same time, in Jharkhand, less than normal rainfall has been recorded in 15 out of 24 districts. Kunti district has the lowest rainfall. It has received 64 per cent less rainfall than normal. However, Skynet has now issued a heavy rain warning in the next 24 hours. 

The meteorological department has forecast heavy rains in Uttarakhand, Odisha, Haryana, Chandigarh, West Bengal, Assam and Himachal Pradesh on August 5 and 6. On the 7th and 8th of August, rainfall estimates have been made in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.
