Ranchi: Hemant Soren has been sworn in as the 11th CM of Jharkhand. He took oath as the Chief Minister of the state at the swearing-in ceremony held at Moharhabadi Maidan in Ranch. Soren has become the 11th CM of the state. State Governor Draupadi Murmu has administered the oath of office to Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Leaders of several political parties were present at Soren's swearing-in ceremony. It is noteworthy that Soren has sworn in as Chief Minister for the second time. Prior to this, he was sworn in as CM in July 2013. Together with JMM-RJD-Congress, he ran the government for one year, five months and fifteen days. In the election results, Soren's alliance won a majority to form the government, winning 47 out of 81 seats in the Jharkhand Assembly.
