Here is why Rimi Sen after giving various hit, Hera Pheri- Golmaal, Disappeared from Bollywood

Rimi Sen is one of the renowned faces in Bollywood. The actress has appeared in some movies but the movies were quite successful.  Rimi Sen has worked with various big actors including Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar. The actress once revealed that she thinks she has done nothing in movies and was used like furniture. Rimi Sen since her childhood Sen nursed the dream of becoming an actress. After completing her studies, she persuaded her mother to accompany her to Mumbai. She later said that she wasn't encouraged by anyone in her family except for her grandfather. After doing the rounds, she got into ads including one Coca-Cola ad with Aamir Khan. She was instantly noticed and her career started. The actress appeared in various successful movies but later disappeared from Bollywood. In an old interview, Rimi said speaking about the kind of film she has done said, "That time I wasn’t mature. I was young, aggressive, I was getting a lot of work and I used to go with the flow. I was there only for money," The actress further said, "I did Dhoom, Phir Hera Pheri, Hungama, Golmaal and I had the role of furniture in all of them. That time the film industry was male-dominated. Today's content is the hero. Back then, hero was the only hero! OTT platforms have changed the scene today." She in another interview also said, "Now when I watch my films after 10 years, I realize what have I achieved? Nothing." The actress further said,"There have been several such instances and opportunities that I have lost, but then such things are part and parcel of an actor’s life, one has to take it positively in their stride. Further speaking about the state of women the actress once said, “Even today, movies are male-dominated but during my time, films were made for men and women were furniture in them. “ Rimi Sen debuted as child actress in the 1996 Bengali film Damu. She made her debut as a lead actress in the Telugu movie Nee Thodu Kavali. Her debut Hindi film, Vijay Galani'sHungama, was released in 2003. It was a comedy film, in which she co-starred with Akshay Khanna, Aftab Shivdasani, Paresh Rawal, as well as other actors. She followed it with appearances in big budget movies like Dhoom (2004), Garam Masala (2005) and Golmaal (2006). She also did a cameo in 2006 film Dhoom 2, and followed it with Johnny Gaddaar alongside newcomer actor Neil Nitin Mukesh. In 2008, she appeared in De Taali and in Sankat City in 2009.
