Minister of Agriculture and Railways present in high-level meeting at Amit Shah's residence over farmers' protest

New Delhi: The ministers of the Modi government at the centre met on Wednesday amid protests by farmers protesting the agricultural laws. Union Home Minister Amit Shah held talks with Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Railway Minister Piyush Goyal at his home. It is being told that in the meeting, the three ministers have discussed the talks held between the Central government and farmer leaders on Tuesday.

Narendra Singh Tomar and Piyush Goyal attended the meeting held with farmers on Tuesday. Meanwhile, there is also news that the officials of the Central Government's secretaries will try to convince the farmers who are demonstrating. According to the information received from the sources, the Central government is preparing a list of several ministry officials for talks with farmers.

In this, officials of the Ministry of Agriculture, Home and Consumer Affairs will participate to discuss each section of the various provisions of the three agricultural laws. It will mainly involve officers of the secretary level and will try to convince the farmers. It is being told that in this conversation, the solution to the farmers' problem will be taken out and efforts will be made to end the sit-in.
