Himachal demands electrical equipment park from Center

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Government has asked for an electrical equipment park from the central government. The government has proposed this in a meeting with the cabinet secretary. On behalf of the government, Chief Secretary Anil Kumar Khachi and Additional Chief Secretary Industries Manoj Kumar attended this meeting. A video conference of the Chief Secretaries took place on Wednesday with the Cabinet Secretary of the Government of India. In this, the apprehension of investment was discussed. Chief Secretary Anil Kumar Khachi said that there has been a discussion on increasing investment in it. 

On the occasion, Additional Chief Secretary Industry Manoj Kumar suggested that a bulk drug pharma park is being built in the state. In the same way, a park of electric appliances can also be developed. A proposal in this regard has been given to the Ministry of Energy. The Central Government also suggested to all the states including Himachal Pradesh that they should increase incentives for industries, so that they can be encouraged. Several issues were discussed with this.

On the other hand, two died of corona on Thursday in Sirmaur district of the state. The founder of a private school, suffering from several diseases, died in Rajgarh. He was also suffering from Corona. The said infected was brought home from PGI on Wednesday. The SDM has instructed the Health Department and Nagar Panchayat to conduct the last rites under the protocol of COVID 19.
