Shimla: The decision will be taken in the cabinet meeting to be held on November 23 for conducting the annual examinations in the government schools of Himachal Pradesh from first to eighth grade in December or March 2021. The churning has begun again on the announcement of annual holidays in March 2021 for schools with winter holidays. Departmental officials are talking about finishing the academic session by taking annual examinations in December itself. It is proposed to conduct examinations in summer schools up to class VIII in March itself. Directorate of Elementary Education and State Project Office of Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan has issued instructions to teachers to prepare exam papers of first to eighth grade to be held in December after detailed discussion. However, the datasheet will be formed after the final decision of the cabinet meeting. It is proposed to conduct examinations online. The authorities are not in favour of calling students to school as Corona's case increases. A proposal has been prepared for the cabinet meeting involving several options. Under this, there is a plan to conduct examinations in winter schools from first to eighth grade in December. The proposal states that the first to eighth class results will be prepared on the basis of first and second term examinations. With the approval of the proposal, there will be no need to start classes from first to eighth grade in January and February also.
