The Himachal Pradesh government will supply oxygen to Delhi facing acute shortage of the life-saving gas for COVID-19 patients. The official spokesperson from the hill state said on Monday 'will arrange oxygen supply fir national capital.’ Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur agreed for supplying oxygen on the request of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over the emergency supply of oxygen amid the COVID-19 crisis. In a letter written to his Delhi counterpart, Thakur said that the Himachal Pradesh government was “highly concerned” about the situation emerging in the national capital. The government said it would be more than happy to extend all possible help to the Delhi. Thakur further said that officers of the Delhi may contact additional director of industries for arranging the supply of oxygen from the state. After such a kind move made by Himachal Kejriwal tweeted thanking the chief minister for his help. Corona is wreaking havoc in the capital Delhi. In the last 24 hours, 20201 new cases of corona have been reported. At the same time 380 patients have lost their lives. The number of active patients has increased to 92358 in the province. The infection rate here is also 35.02 percent. In the last 24 hours, 22055 people have also recovered. For the first time, there have been 380 deaths in Delhi in a day.
