WASHINGTON: Indian-American Congressman Shri Thanedar Forms 'Hindu Caucus' in U.S. Congress to Promote Religious Freedom.  The 13th District of Michigan's representative, Indian-American Congressman Shri Thanedar, has recently made an important announcement to establish a 'Hindu Caucus' within the U.S. Congress. The purpose of this caucus is to bring together like-minded lawmakers who share a common goal of eradicating hate and bigotry against Hindus in the United States. The announcement was made on June 14, 2023, at the first-ever Hindu American Summit held at the Capitol Visitor Center.
