On Friday morning, two men ran into a hit-and-run case on the Kamareddy bypass road and tragically killed a family of migrant workers returning home in a vehicle. Jakka Kurmayya, from Shamirpeta village in Bijinepalli mandal in Mahabubnagar district, was working back in a DCM van from Maharashtra with his family members, police said. The vehicle stopped on the bypass road as passengers wanted to answer the nature call. As they were trying to cross the road, an unknown vehicle hit them. Kurmayya and his son escaped with minor injuries, while his wife Narsamma and his son Shankar were rushed to the hospital. Local people called the ambulance to shift the injured to the hospital.
