With over eight lakh digital transactions, Punjab National Bank has introduced over 5 lakh new customers in just 45 days. A press release said that PNB MD & CEO CHSS Mallikarjuna Rao launched a campaign on August 15 to celebrate the 75th Independence Day.

Celebrating the bank milestone at PNB Musheerabad branch, General Manager & Zonal Head (TS, AP & Karnataka) Ashutosh Chaudhary said, "To expand this innovative and successful digital campaign, PNB is celebrating 'Digital Apnayen Day' across our 10,931 branches. This campaign is an effective hand held method to encourage traders to self-reliance, move more customers to digital banking routes and encourage the use of digital channels, including Rupay Debit Cards, UPI and EPS accounts for all financial needs. ". Hyderabad Circle Head Vinayak Kumar Sardesh Pandey and customers participated in the event.
