New Delhi: Travellers no longer need to download a mobile application to use the DigiYatra service at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport. According to a statement released on Thursday by Delhi International Airport Limited, the initiative that was inaugurated at Terminal 3 of IGI Airport would allow users to access the facility through a straightforward three-step registration process. The passengers would need to scan their boarding pass and face, as well as present an identification proof to the security staff stationed near the registration counter, as part of the registration process. After successfully registering, the passengers will be free to move about the terminal, the security checkpoint area, and the boarding gates without any problems. CEO of Delhi International Airport Limited Videh Kumar Jaipuriar commented on the initiative, saying, "We have been working tirelessly to improve the passenger experience at Delhi Airport. With the help of our most recent project, anyone can use DigiYatra to its fullest potential and travel conveniently. With DigiYatra, travellers may travel more quickly, safely, and comfortably while also getting to spend more time at the airport with their loved ones. Launched on December 1st, 2022, is DigiYatra.
