Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan Vikram Vedha called for a boycott for this reason

Saif Ali Khan and Vikram Vedha are all set for their upcoming film Vikram Vedha. Vikram Vedha is a remake of R Madhavan’s Tamil film which became a huge blockbuster. The movie is called for Boycott after Saif Ali Khan’s statement controversial statement on naming him Taimur in an old video and now some people also boycotting the movie for ruining the original Tamil Film.

The director of the movie Pushkar on comparison with the original movie and  said, “Take a play like Streetcar Named Desire or Death of a Salesman. It has been staged hundreds of times all over the world. The text remains the same. But you bring in a fresh set of actors when a production changes. We approached the idea of doing Vikram Vedha the same way. The text is the same, what we had written long back. When Saif and Hrithik come on board, they are bringing what an actor and the written word together form into a character on screen.”

 

He further said,  “We never felt like we were recreating a scene. We had long discussions on sets on how to do this scene or that scene. And not once did we think of doing it the way it was earlier. The soul is the same but it’s completely different.”

 

Vikram Vedha stars Hrithik Roshan and  Saif Ali Khan. The film also stars Radhika Apte, Rohit Saraf, Yogita Bihani, and Sharib Hashmi. Directed by Pushkar-Gayatri, Vikram Vedha is the Hindi remake of their 2017 Tamil film of the same name. It is a remake, the original film which starred R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi was a massive hit. Filmmaker duo Pushkar and Gayatri, who directed the original too.
