Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson Team Up for 'Song Sung Blue'

Actors Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson are set to star in the upcoming musical drama 'Song Sung Blue,' directed by Craig Brewer. The film, produced by Focus Features, features a talented ensemble cast that includes Michael Imperioli, Fisher Stevens, Jim Belushi, Ella Anderson, King Princess, Mustafa Shakir, and Hudson Hilbert Hensley.

This film is inspired by a true story from the 2008 documentary of the same name, directed by Greg Kohs. Production is being led by John Davis and John Fox from Davis Entertainment, along with Brewer, while Erika Hampson and Kohs serve as executive producers.

Hugh Jackman recently appeared in 'Deadpool & Wolverine,' alongside Ryan Reynolds, Emma Corrin, and Matthew Macfadyen. He is also set to perform 12 concerts at Radio City Music Hall in 2025. Other projects on his slate include 'Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Movie' and 'The Death of Robin Hood.'

In addition, Kate Hudson will star in Mindy Kaling's upcoming basketball-themed comedy series 'Running Point,' where she portrays the president of a major basketball franchise.
