'Husband had illegal affairs..', wife reaches police station

Agra: Even after marriage, the husband did not leave his girlfriend, he has been following her for the last four years. Taking a complaint about this, an aggrieved wife has registered a case against her husband in the police station. This matter has come to the fore from Agra in Uttar Pradesh. A woman named Rekha Ben has given a complaint against her husband Vinod in the Sadar police station area of ​​Agra. She says that she married Vinod on 20 February 2018. 

According to the victim, at the time of marriage, my family had given a lot of dowry according to their status, but after marriage, I am very upset. Husband stays away from me because of his girlfriend. My in-laws are torturing me mentally and physically by demanding a dowry of Rs.5 lakh. Rekha has said in her complaint that it has been four years since the marriage, but to date, the husband has not taken me for a visit. Stays away from me only after marriage. The husband follows the instructions of his girlfriend and does not even talk to me. The husband has never even had a physical relationship with me because of the fear that his girlfriend might get upset. If the girlfriend gets angry, then the husband does not even eat food for many days.

Rekha Ben has told in her complaint to the police that a dowry of five rupees is being demanded by her in-laws. I am being harassed mentally and physically. Along with this, Rekha has also told about the danger of her life from her in-laws. On Rekha's complaint, Sadar police station has registered a case against husband Vinod Bhai, father-in-law Bhura Bhai, husband's girlfriend, mother-in-law Mali Ben and sister-in-law Diviya under IPC sections 498A, 323, 504, 506 and Dowry Act. CO Sadar says that the case is being investigated, and action will be taken on the basis of the investigation.
