Hyderabad: 16-year-old girl sets herself on fire in hostel !

Hyderabad: On Tuesday, again a case of suicide comes in front as a 16-year-old student of Hyderabad's Sri Chaitanya College committed suicide in her hostel room. The girl called her mother minutes before she has taken such a big step, and asked that she be allowed to leave the hostel.

Asusual Sathvika attended classes till 12:30 pm on Tuesday. After that 16-year-old had rushed to her hostel room and called her mother, and then suddenly, at around 1:30 pm student observed the smoke from the fourth floor.

According to senior police officer N Bujanga Rao, “We are not sure if she used petrol, kerosene or a deodorant, as the scene was heavily burnt, even after school officials doused the fire. We have taken samples from the body and the ash, to investigate this further”. "

She had called her mother and told her that she does not want to stay in the hostel," he added.

No suicide note was found in the room and a case of suspicious death has been registered.
