New Delhi: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the prize money for the upcoming Women's World Cup. According to this, the winning team will be given prize money of $13 lakh 20 thousand (Rs 9.93 crore). This is twice the amount that the champions of the 2017 World Cup in England received. The ICC has issued a press release in this regard. According to it, the total prize money of the tournament has increased by 75 per cent. Prize money of $3.5 million will be distributed among the eight teams participating in the tournament, which is $1.5 million more than the previous tournament.
