Demand to make Sourav Ganguly ICC chief

New Delhi: Former Team India captain Sourav Ganguly is currently the BCCI President. Ganguly has been leading the BCCI for the last nearly eight months. ICC President Shashank Manohar's term ends this month. After this, election for ICC President will be held in July.

In the wake of Ganguly's tenure so far, voice is being raised that Sourav Ganguly should be appointed as the ICC President. These demands are being made not only by India but also by their opponents. Graeme Smith, former South Africa captain and President of Cricket South Africa, has said that Sourav Ganguly has tremendous leadership potential. Ganguly is the best for ICC chief. Let me tell you that even today people consider the captaincy of Sourav Ganguly as the iron.

He taught Team India how to win abroad. Along with this, he had also led the West Bengal Cricket Association. And now he is in the role of President of BCCI. Sourav has the experience of a brilliant captain and a great administrator. Now elections are to be held for the ICC President in July.
