Ingredients: 1 bottle red wine 375 ml orange juice (pulp free) ½ tbsp cinnamon powder 1 cinnamon stick ½ tbsp nutmeg powder 2-inch ginger (minced) 2 tbsp honey 4 tbsp castor sugar 1 orange (peeled) 16 cloves 1 tbsp lemon juice

Preparation: 1. Pierce the peeled orange all over with cloves, the buds should stick out 2. Add all the ingredients, including the orange with cloves in a pot and bring the mixture to a simmer 3. Keep stirring with a whisk to keep it from boiling or the alcohol will start cooking away 4. Once it has simmered for 5 minutes, reduce the heat and let it stay on a gentle flame for 45 minutes.
