'Muslims don't worship Lakshmi, aren't they rich?' BJP leader's controversial statement

Bhagalpur: BJP MLA from Pirpainti in Bhagalpur, Bihar, Lalan Paswan has given a big statement regarding Hindu deities. A war broke out after Paswan's statement. People are protesting against the MLA from place to place. People protested in the Shermari market of Bhagalpur and burnt the effigy of a BJP MLA. Paswan made many controversial remarks about the Hindu goddesses Lakshmi, Saraswati and Bajrang Bali.

Paswan said that if we get wealth only by worshipping Goddess Lakshmi, then Muslims would not have billionaires and trillionaires. Muslims don't worship Goddess Lakshmi, aren't they rich? Muslims do not worship Goddess Saraswati. Are there no scholars among them? Do Muslims not become IAS or IPS? The BJP leader said that everything is the trust of the people. He said that the matter of soul and God is only the belief of the people.

Lalan Paswan said that if you believe then it is a goddess and if not then it is just a stone statue. It is up to us whether we believe in deities or not. We have to think on a scientific basis to reach logically. If you stop trusting, then your intellectual capacity will increase. Paswan said it is said that Bajrangbali is a deity with power and bestows power. Muslims or Christians do not worship Bajrangbali. Are they powerful? The day you stop trusting, all these things will end.
