Miscreants shot 2 people for not giving money

Nalanda: Two persons were shot dead by some criminals in the Deepnagar police station area of Nalanda in Bihar on Saturday for not giving money. Both the people have been admitted to Sadar Hospital in an injured condition. There is also a woman among the injured. The condition of the injured Krishna Sharma is fine while the woman has been admitted to a private clinic for treatment.

The injured Krishna Sharma said that he has a market in Devisarai. Pappu Kumar, a resident of Devisarai, runs a jewellery shop. On Saturday morning, some criminals reached his shop and started beating him up and demanded money. In the evening, a dozen armed criminals came to the shop with the intention of looting for not giving money.  

He further said, he asked the shopkeeper for the key of the shop. They opened fire when he didn't give up. He and a woman were shot in the middle of the rescue. After being shot, both the people were admitted to the hospital for treatment. The sudden firing in the market created panic all around. The criminals fired about 5 rounds. Police are conducting raids to arrest the culprits.
