New Delhi: Severe heat wave continues to lash north and central India. With this, Arunachal Pradesh may receive heavy rainfall from June 7 to 9. Thunderstorm accompanied by rain is expected in Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe and Lakshadweep. Apart from this, isolated rain is also likely to occur in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. According to IMD, heavy rain is likely to occur over Tamil Nadu on June 6 and 7 on June 7, 8 and 9 in Kerala, Mahe and on June 8 over north interior Karnataka. Rajasthan, South Punjab, South Haryana-Delhi, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and Telangana are on alert on June 6.
