According to the Worldwide Harmonized Light Car Test Procedure, the outstanding per-charge range of the Hyundai Motor Company's Ioniq 6 electric vehicle (EV) is 614 kilometers (WLTP). The Hyundai Ioniq 6 is now one of the most energy-efficient mainstream EVs in the entire globe as a result. The Hyundai Ioniq 6 is the most aerodynamic EV in the company's lineup and is slated to go on sale in a few European regions later this year and in North America by the beginning of 2023. The active air flap, wheel air curtains, integrated rear spoiler, and wheel gap reducers are just a few of the crucial design components that work together to help the EV cut through the air. "We put every effort into designing the most efficient car in the EV segment," said Byung Hoon Min, Head of Total Vehicle Performance Development Center at Hyundai Motor Company. “Our focus on improving aerodynamics helped to achieve one of the longest all-electric range vehicles available, which will reduce customers’ EV range anxiety and help grow the segment." The Ioniq 6 is promising a whopping 325 PS of peak power and 605 Nm of immediate torque prior to its official launch. It further asserts that 0 to 100 kph can be reached in 5.1 seconds. The EV can be powered from 10% to 80% in approximately 18 minutes when parked and plugged into a 350 kW DC station. Ioniq 5 will be introduced to India as a direct competitor to Kia EV6, which was also introduced earlier this year, while Ioniq 6 is getting set to launch in western countries.
