Thane: A businessman was abducted by some youths in the greed of becoming rich quickly. The case pertains to Dombivli in the Thane district of Maharashtra. Here, 5 persons abducted a businessman and demanded a ransom of 50 lakhs. On receipt of the complaint, the police, wearing clothes like villagers, arrested 4 out of 5 criminals in a filmy style. The businessman has been rescued safely from the clutches of the abductors by the police. According to reports, Sanjay Ramkishan Vishwakarma (39), Sandeep Gyandev Rokade (39), Dharmadaj Ambadas Kamble (36) and Roshan Ganpat Sawat (40) and Iqbal Sheikh are residents of Dombivli town. All of them together kidnapped a businessman named Himmat Nahar and demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh. The criminals had booked a four-wheeler from Tour and Travels for the kidnapping. In fact, there is a Delix plywood shop in Himmatnahar in Dombivali. On August 3, a man named Sanjay Vishwakarma came and after making a deal for the goods, he took the businessman with him in the car and took him along and he kidnapped the businessman Himmat Nahar. Within a few hours, Himmat's nephew Jeetu got a call. The caller demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh in lieu of releasing the businessman. Jeetu lodged a case at Manpada police station. Senior police inspector Shekhar Bagde of Manpada police station formed the team. Thereafter, the abductors were called to a place on the pretext of giving money through Jeetu. Jeetu was asked to bring money to a site near Gotheghar village on the Mumbai-Agra road in Shahapur. Jeetu got there. During this, the police had already laid a trap. There were 4 teams of policemen deployed in the Gotheghar area to grab them. Jeetu was instructed to demand Himmat Nahar before giving money to the offender. Jeetu was standing near the tunnel with a bag of money. A car came to the spot. When the abductors demanded the money, he first asked for him to hand over the Himmat to Nahar. But the abductors said, "Your uncle has been kept in a house in the village. On this, When Jeetu refused to give money, there was a conversation between them. Seeing the opportunity, the police surrounded the car and after catching everyone, they released Himmat Nahar safely from a room in the village. Police have arrested Sanjay Vishwakarma, Sandeep Rokade, Dharmaraj Kamble and Roshan Sawant while the fifth criminal is on the run.
