Jamshedpur: An incident of murder has come to light from Jamshedpur in Jharkhand. Gangster Ranjit Singh was shot dead at a Durga Puja pandal in the Telco police station area here. Ranjit Singh came out of jail only on September 20. According to police, three rounds were fired at Ranjit Singh. Police have launched an investigation into the matter. Officials say that in the investigation, a case of murder is coming out in the fight for supremacy. It was reported that two motorcycle-borne masked criminals fired at him. SP Vijay Shankar said, "On Monday, gangster Ranjit Singh had gone to the Durga Puja pandal with his 12-year-old daughter. His daughter was in the car and Ranjit was getting out and talking to some boys. During this, the criminals who came on a motorcycle asked Ranjit Singh's daughter about her father and after that, they started taking the daughter out of the car. Hearing the noise, Ranjit came near the car when the two criminals opened fire on him. After being shot, the locals rushed Ranjit to the hospital, where the doctors declared him dead. Ranjit's daughter escaped unhurt in the incident. Police said that 16 CCTV cameras have been installed in the pandal by the Durga Puja Committee, but the spot was out of reach of CCTV.
