Patna: The Income Tax Department in Bihar has sent notices to more than 250 candidates. These candidates include 68 current MLAs from several political parties. During the Bihar assembly elections, the Election Commission was informed by concealing wrong facts and data in the affidavit. The Election Commission (EC) had expressed apprehension of irregularities in the affidavit, after which preliminary investigations revealed shocking facts. In fact, in this case, the Election Commission took further action and entrusted the Income Tax Department with the responsibility of investigating. At the same time, notices have been issued to all. In such a case, all people will have to respond to the notice by the last week of November.
