Corona latest updates: 1.69 lakh new cases in 24 hours, 904 killed

New Delhi: The number of coronavirus cases in India is increasing every day. On Monday, about 1.69 lakh new cases of corona have been reported in the country. This is the biggest figure so far, if this pace remains, then soon the country will start reporting up to two lakh cases every day. According to the data released by the state governments, 904 people have lost their lives in the last 24 hours.

Significantly, in February, where the daily cases of corona in India had fallen to 10 thousand, in March that figure reached one lakh per day. But now in April, more than 1.50 lakh cases are coming out every day. This is the third consecutive day when more than one and a half lakh cases have been registered in 24 hours. The worst situation in the country at this time is in Maharashtra, where more than 60 thousand cases were reported on the previous day. In Maharashtra, more than 50 thousand cases are coming up every day. But if we look at other states then at this time the condition of every state seems to be poor.

States like Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka are breaking their previous record every day. It is a matter of concern that even a small state like Chhattisgarh is reporting more than ten thousand cases every day.
