Corona Update: Patients surpassed 99 lakhs in country, 3 lakh active cases

New Delhi: The total number of corona patients in the country has crossed 99 lakh mark. Meanwhile, the news of relief is that for the past few weeks in the country, a series of new cases of corona are continuing. According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the average daily positivity rate of coronavirus has decreased in the last five weeks in the country. However, there are still over 3 lakh active cases of corona in India.

According to the Health Ministry, the rate of people recovering from corona in India has increased. Currently, the rate of patients recovering from corona infection in the country is 95.12 per cent. Which is the highest in the world. According to the latest data released by the Union Health Ministry, 26,382 new cases of corona have been reported in India in the last 24 hours. While 387 corona patients have died. During this time, 33,813 corona patients have recovered. The state of Maharashtra in the country has been most affected by the corona infection.

According to the Ministry of Health, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Kerala and West Bengal have 56 per cent corona patients in these five states. At the same time, the corona infection rate in the country's capital Delhi has reached below 2 per cent for the first time. While the recovery rate has reached 96 per cent for the first time. Corona testing has also reached new record levels in Delhi. More than 85 thousand tests were conducted in the capital in 24 hours. Out of this, RT-PCR has reached the highest level of 42000.
