India Corona: Active cases reduced, only this many new cases found in last 24 hours

New Delhi: India has got a big relief in tackling the corona epidemic. For the first time since March last year, the active cases of corona in the country have come down to less than one percent. At present, only 0.98 percent of the active cases are left as compared to the total number of cases. A total of 25,467 new cases have been reported in the last day.

At the same time, the number of active cases has also come down sharply to 3,19,551, the lowest figure in the last 156 days. Corona's recovery rate has also risen sharply to 97.68 percent. This is the highest level since March last year.  While 25,000 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, 39,486 people have recovered from infection. Thus, the number of active cases has come down by nearly 14,000 in a single day. So far, a total of 3,17,20,112 people have recovered from corona in the country. Coming to the weekly positivity rate, it has also gone up to 1.90 percent.

For the last two months, it has remained less than 3 percent. At the same time, the daily positivity rate has also been less than three percent in a row for 29 days. At present, it is only 1.55 percent. A total of 58.89 crore vaccines have been vaccinated in the country so far. In addition, more than 50 crore corona tests have been conducted.
