New Delhi: The number of corona infections in the country is constantly increasing. In the last 24 hours, 24 thousand 248 new cases have been registered in the country and 425 people have died. According to the update released by the Ministry of Health on Monday morning, the total number of patients in the country is 6 lakh 97 thousand 413, in which 19 thousand 693 people have lost their lives. So far, 4 lakh 24 thousand 433 people have been recovered from Corona. In the last 24 hours, only 15 thousand 350 people have defeated Corona. The number of active cases in the country is 2 lakh 53 thousand 287. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 99 lakh 69 thousand 662 sample tests have been done till 5 July.
The country's most corona-affected state
In Maharashtra- The number of corona patients has crossed 2 lakh. So far 8822 people have lost their lives, while more than one lakh 11 thousand patients have been cured. The number of active cases is more than 86 thousand.
Tamil Nadu- The graph of corona patients in the state is increasing rapidly. The total number of patients has crossed 1 lakh 11 thousand, in which 1510 people have lost their lives. The number of active cases is close to 47 thousand.
Delhi- In the national capital, the total corona patients has reached almost one lakh, in which more than 3 thousand people have died. So far, more than 71 thousand patients have been recovered, while there are more than 25 thousand active cases.
