Ind Vs Eng: India beat English by 8 runs in a match of 'Do or Die'

Ahmedabad: India has beaten England in the fourth T20 match played at Ahmedabad on Thursday. India set a target of 186 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, trailing England by eight wickets to make 177 runs. With this win, Team India have leveled their score with England at 2-2.

It was a must-do or die-out for India in this 5-match T20 series. Ben Stokes scored the highest 46 for the England team chasing the target from India. Jason Roy, 40, Johnny Bairstow contributed 14 runs to 25 by David Malan. England needed 23 runs in the final over to win and Jofra Archer was present along with Chris Jordan at the crease. The last ball needed 9 runs and it was ensured that the match had gone out of England's hands.

Chris Jordan was out for 12, while Jofra Archer was not out for 18. Adil Rashid didn't even get a chance to open his account. Bhuvneshwar Kumar got one while Hardik Pandya and Rahul Chahar got two wickets for India. Shardul Thakur was able to take three wickets at most.
