New Delhi: Two drug traffickers have been detained by a Special Cell of Delhi Police from Majnu's Mound area. Police have recovered a large consignment of heroin from their possession. He came to Delhi. The smuggler was supposed to carry heroin in an SUV car. But even before that, the special cell team caught him. The price of heroin recovered from them is reported to be around Rs 60 crore in the market.
The two arrested smugglers have been identified as Shahzad and Aamir Khan. Both of them have been being searched by the police for several days. The special cell team was under the leadership of Inspector Krishna Kumar. Only then has the white SUV 500 car been stopped. In which these two suppliers were present. Earlier, the two attempted to escape. But the police team caught both in time.
Police recovered 3 kg of heroin from Shahzad and 2 kg from Aamir Khan. Both of them were so vicious that they had made a secret cavity in their car, from where the police extracted 10 kg of heroin and seized them. According to DCP Sanjeev Yadav, the drugs are worth around Rs 60 crore in the international market.
Special Cell DCP Sanjeev Yadav said that the drugs were to reach different locations in Delhi-NCR via Manipur and Bihar in the northeast from the international route of Myanmar. Police said Shahzad was a bouncer earlier and had come in contact with a drug dealer named Nadeem in the past. Since then, he had also entered the racket. The police are questioning both.
