New Delhi: In the last 24 hours, India has recorded 10,549 new cases of the novel coronavirus, including 488 deaths as a result of the infection. According to data released by the Union Health Ministry on Friday, the country saw a total of 9,868 discharges in the previous 24 hours, bringing the total recovery rate to 98.33 percent, the highest since March 2020, and total recoveries data to 3,39,77,830. According to government data released today, the overall number of active COVID-19 cases in India has risen to 1,10,133. So far, the Nationwide Vaccination Drive has administered about 120.27 crore vaccine doses. The country's total death toll today stands at 4,67,468.
