New Delhi: Political as well as military relations between India and Russia are steadily strengthening. Due to this, the 12th edition of the Joint Military Exercise 'Indra-2021' between the armies of the two countries is set to begin next month (August). The 13-day exercise will further strengthen the friendship between India and Russia. The joint military exercise between the two armies will be held in Volgograd Russia from August 01 to 13, 2021. The exercise will require counter-terror operations by the Joint Force against international terror groups under the United Nations mandate. INDRA-2021 will involve 250 personnel from both countries in the exercise. An Indian Army contingent with a mechanized infantry battalion has undergone rigorous training in different parts of India to participate in the joint exercise. The 13-day exercise will be held at the Prudboi Exercise Range in the Volgograd region of Southern Russia.
