'Pakistan made factory of terror, cannot negotiate', says Foreign Minister said in America

New Delhi: Foreign Minister S Jaishankar fiercely targeted Pakistan at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) program in New York. He said whether or not talks with Pakistan are not an issue. Every country wants to talk to its neighbour. The issue is how do we talk to a country which has become a factory of terrorism. S Jaishankar has said that Pakistan is a Terroristan and cannot be negotiated again with Terroristan.

Jaishankar further said that there is no problem in talking to Pakistan, but we have problems in talking to Terristan. Jaishankar told that Pakistan has created an industry of terror for Kashmir. He said that the 26/11 Mumbai attack is not a major issue of tension in India and Pakistan. Referring to the events in Kashmir, S. Jaishankar said that before August 5, there was a lot of disturbance in the valley.

He said senior police officers were killed on the streets of Srinagar, journalists writing against separatism were killed, military personnel returning home for Eid were kidnapped and killed. Problems in Kashmir did not start from August 5. After the removal of Section 370, the purpose of the sanctions was to handle the situation without loss of life. He said that we had the experience of 2016, when violence erupted in the valley after killing Burhan Wani.
